Spring is certainly bringing us many changes!
In early April, Fr. Steve was informed by the Diocese that his assignment in Melrose and Wakefield is ending, and that he is being re-assigned as pastor at St. Matthias in Marlborough. Fr. Steve will remain with us at Incarnation and Most Blessed Sacrament until June 1 when his new assignment will begin. On Sunday, May 19, following the 9:30 Mass, we will have a reception in the parish hall to thank Fr. Steve, celebrate his time in Melrose, and wish him well in Marlborough.
Recently, the Diocese announced that Fr. Michael will remain here and assume the responsibility of pastor of Most Blessed Sacrament and Incarnation parishes on June 1. Fr. Michael and Fr. Steve will work together during the coming months to make this transition as smooth as possible.
Deacon Bob recently began a leave of absence to recover from surgery and will return to us in a few months.
