…CHRISTMAS?!
While it feels like we are just getting settled into the autumn months, our collaborative choirs will be preparing soon for the Advent and Christmas seasons – and all the fabulous musical events surrounding them. As a result, we are adjusting our rehearsal schedule to accommodate more joint rehearsal time for both parishes to come together and rehearse in tandem.
Starting on October 23, both Incarnation and Most Blessed Sacrament choirs will be rehearsing on Thursday evenings at Incarnation Parish. Incarnation members will begin at 6:30 and Most Blessed Sacrament members at 7:00pm, and Incarnation members will be dismissed around 8:00 while MBS members will remain until 8:30. This gives us the opportunity to address music for each parish individually while also devoting the majority of our time to our shared repertoire.
This means that it’s not too late to join in time for the holidays – no need to worry about falling behind and catching up! We will soon be taking sign-ups for our collaborative Children’s Choir as well, so keep an eye on the bulletin for more announcements in the coming weeks.
