We love our neighbors! Right here in Melrose we have neighbors in need. The Pantry of Hope at the First Baptist Church serves 50-60 families each week. Our Fall Food Drive will benefit the The Pantry’s Thanksgiving Basket program. They are in need of shelf stable items such as:
- stuffing
- instant mashed potatoes
- turkey gravy
- canned veggies
- cranberry sauce
- pie filling (apple, pumpkin, squash, cherry, or blueberry)
- gift cards in small denominations to Shaw’s or Stop & Shop
Your food donations can be brought to the food bins by the church doors. Gift cards can be left in the basket on the table at the Upham Street door. Thank you for answering the call to love!
