Our very first meal prep event was a smashing success. On March 5, a team of 18 volunteers, guided by staff from the Community Meal Prep Club, worked in the Parish Hall to make 100 meals from scratch for The Food Drive’s Community Freezer here in Melrose. This organization helps feed our neighbors facing food insecurity.
Thank you to the Incarnation community for your financial contributions and your willingness to help in the kitchen. Our volunteer sign-up for meal prep filled up quickly, and we plan to have another event in May. Watch the website and bulletin for details.
