A Note from Fr. Michael Rora

To the people of Most Blessed Sacrament and Incarnation Parishes,

As 2025 comes to a close this is a Christmas season of great joy for me. Over the last year both of our parishes have experienced growth; we’ve seen an increase in our weekend attendance, and an increase in baptisms, weddings, and funerals. Your generous response to this year’s Catholic Appeal and to our local increased offertory drive also led to increases there and better financial health for our parishes. As we celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord this year, it is wonderful that we can also celebrate the growth of our parish communities

It has been a pleasure to spend another year as your pastor and continue to know the people of our parishes better. To connect more deeply with more of the families of our communities in the midst of fulfilling my pastoral responsibilities has been an honor. I look forward to continuing to meet and serve the people of Wakefield, Melrose, and Saugus. Your faith and your participation in the mystical body of Christ are a source of great consolation to me.

I wish you, alongside our staff and clergy, a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and blessings from God for yourselves and your families. May his graces abound in your homes and in our parishes to the glory of God the Father.

In Christ, Fr. Michael S. Rora
Pastor, Most Blessed Sacrament and Incarnation Parishes
